Celebrating August 5th as International Bloggers Day đ
Always fancied yourself as a blogger but not sure where to start? To commemorate this day we have put together how you can get yourself into the blogging business đ„đâ
đ Where to start?
Now that you have made up your mind that you want to blog, decide on your blogging style and your audience. If you wish to tell stories and write long articles then a blogging website from WordPress or Blogger is mostly preferred đ
However if you have a knack to click and edit some aesthetically pleasing photographs and prefer short to the point captions, then Instagram is your to go platform. Blogging through Instagram, also termed as Micro-Blogging is an easy, hassle free way of maintaining a blog through your phone đ
đ How Often Should You Blog?
Now you have chosen your audience, style and platform, you need to work on your blogging schedule. We can't stress enough on being regular with your blog posts, whether it's on a website or on Instagram đïž
Your ideal posting frequency completely depends on your brand or personal goal. Social media expert Neil Patel explains, âIf you make a habit of posting several times a day and then transition to only a few times a week, you will start to lose followers and generate less engagement per post. This means that the best posting frequency for Instagram is the posting frequency that you can consistently maintain for the rest of your natural life.â
đ Quality over Quantity
Now that you understood how often you should be posting also make it a point to not compromise your quality. At Social Donut 101, we totally stand by the quality over everything else. Hence we have a perfectly planned schedule selecting our days for certain posts, right time to post and depending on how much our reader wants to read long Blog post đđ
Being a blogger doesn't have to be someone with a degree. It comes naturally with the need to spread your knowledge and are willing to share details of your life, work, experience and/or education. Its about building a community that follows you and looks up to you. Bloggers can be influential role models and can either curb their audience in the right or wrong way. Its a job you have to be committed to. And if you think you have it, then the world is your oyster.
